Chilled Pizza Delivery Terms & Conditions

1. Chilled Product Delivery

Craving Crust chilled pizzas are perishable food products and are shipped under chilled conditions to help maintain product quality and food safety during transit.

Upon receipt of your order, you are responsible for ensuring that the pizzas are removed from the packaging and placed into a refrigerator immediately. Products must be stored in accordance with the storage instructions provided on the packaging and consumed before the stated use-by date.

2. Delivery Dates and Estimates

All delivery dates provided by Craving Crust are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Whilst we aim to deliver your order on the estimated delivery date provided on the product page and during checkout, circumstances outside of our control may occasionally affect delivery times. This may include, but is not limited to, courier delays, adverse weather conditions, traffic disruption, operational issues, or other unforeseen events.

The estimated delivery date should be used as a guide only, and customers should ensure they are able to accept delivery within the expected delivery window which can be up to 2 days either side of the estimated delivery date.

3. Delivery Requirements

Customers must ensure that a suitable person is available to accept delivery at the address provided at checkout.

In the event that nobody is available to accept the delivery, the goods will be left in the “SafePlace” specified by the customer during checkout. Craving Crust cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of goods that are left in the customer’s specified “SafePlace”.

Craving Crust cannot accept responsibility for orders that are unable to be delivered due to the recipient being unavailable, incorrect delivery details being provided, failure to accept the delivery, or the “SafePlace” being inaccessible, or inappropriate.

Where possible, customers should inspect their delivery upon receipt and notify us promptly of any visible damage to the packaging or products.

4. Courier Delays

We use reliable courier services to deliver our chilled products; however, once an order has been dispatched, delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside of our control.

Due to the perishable nature of chilled pizzas, Craving Crust cannot be held responsible for delays in transit where the products have been dispatched correctly and packaged appropriately for delivery.

No refunds, returns, or replacements will be provided where goods are delayed in transit and/or where products have not been stored correctly once received.

5. Customer Responsibility for Storage

Responsibility for the safe storage and handling of chilled pizzas transfers to the customer upon delivery.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that:

  • The delivery is accepted promptly.
  • Chilled pizzas are placed into a refrigerator immediately upon receipt.
  • Products are stored at the correct temperature.
  • Packaging and storage instructions are followed.
  • Products are consumed within the stated use-by period.

Craving Crust cannot accept liability for any deterioration, loss of quality, or food safety concerns resulting from incorrect storage, delayed refrigeration, or improper handling after delivery.

6. Returns, Refunds and Replacements

Due to the perishable nature of chilled food products, we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds in the following circumstances:

  • The customer is unavailable to receive the delivery.
  • The order is delayed in transit.
  • The delivery arrives outside of the estimated delivery date.
  • The products have not been refrigerated immediately after receipt.
  • The products have been stored incorrectly after delivery.
  • The customer has failed to follow the storage instructions provided.
  • The customer no longer wishes to receive the products.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or there is a genuine issue with the quality of the product upon receipt, please contact Craving Crust within 24 hours of delivery with details of the issue and photographic evidence where applicable. We will review each case individually and determine an appropriate resolution.

7. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order for chilled pizzas through Craving Crust, you confirm that you understand and agree that delivery dates are estimates only, that chilled products require immediate refrigeration upon receipt, and that responsibility for storage and handling transfers to you once delivery has been completed.

These terms are in place to protect the quality, safety, and integrity of our products and ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
